Apprenticeship Program

At Desert Glass Works, we’ve been diligently crafting a formal apprenticeship program for quartz glass fabrication. What seemed straightforward at first turned out to be a deeply involved process—no surprise, considering we’re distilling over 80 years of combined expertise into a program for the next generation.

We’re committed to doing it right. That means creating more than just a hands-on training curriculum. Our program is designed to cultivate skilled artisans who also understand the business side of the trade, the value of community, and the importance of sustainable growth in our industry.

We’re currently awaiting final approval from the State of Colorado, and once we get the green light, we can’t wait to begin sharing this craft—and this legacy—with future quartz glass professionals.
